HUGE IRON ORE DEPOSITS FOUND

His Excellency President Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J Jammeh has revealed the discovery of huge deposits of Iron ore in The Gambia. He added that although test on the quality is yet to be done to ascertain its quality, the discovery is a source of hope for the Gambian people.
The Gambian leader was speaking on Wednesday in his office when he received a cheque for D4 million being royalties paid to the Gambian Government by Salah Ezzedine of East Line Company, for 10,000 tons of sand minerals exported from The Gambia.
At the ceremony, the Gambia leader was optimistic about the Iron ore discovery saying Allah the Almighty will provide the country with the best quality once the tests are done, for the betterment of the country.
President Jammeh added that he will soon announce another discovery as soon as the exportation of the Iron ore begins. He highlighted the need for attitudinal change for the rapid transformation of The Gambia.
Her Excellency Vice President Aja Dr. Isatou Njie-Saidy was present at the ceremony together with Secretaries of State and other dignitaries.
