He said their discussion centred on the problems in the sub-region; such as in Mali and Guinea Bissau. He added that it was an opportunity to have some pieces of advice from the President, "a very experienced man, who succeeded in the way he is leading his country to sustain peace and stability". Prifari further applauded President Jammeh for his stance in getting peace in Guinea Bissau, describing him as a true leader.
The Benin diplomat said they will bring all the actors together to negotiate, to enhance common understanding in Guinea Bissau.
He went on to say President Yai Bonny's objective towards the AU is to enhance commitment to the fight for peace, security and unity to the African continent, and to work to keep all the opportunities of the African continent to represent world governance, such as full membership of the Security Council at the United Nations, and to be a permanent member of the Security Council.
