His Excellency the President of the Republic of The Gambia Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, acting under the provisions of Section 71(4)(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, has decided to relieve Mr Momodou S. Foon of his cabinet appointment with effect from 21st July 2010.

His Excellency the President has also in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 71(I) and 71(3) of the Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, appointed Mr Mambury Njie as Minister of Economic Planning and Industrial Development with immediate effect.

In the same vein, His Excellency the President of The Republic of The Gambia Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh has effected a cabinet reshuffle with effect from 21st July 2010.

Mr Yusupha A Kah, Minister of Economic Planning and Industrial Development has been re-assigned to the Ministry of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment and Mr Abdou Kolley, Minister of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment re-assigned to the Ministry of Finance.
