president jammeh receives a Group of Investors

The President His Excellency Professor Alh. Dr. Yahya Jammeh has received in audience some potential investors currently exploring business opportunities in the country. The investors were led to the State House on Tuesday, by one Dairou Diallo, General Manager of BATIGROUPE SA, a company which specialises in Estate Development, based in Senegal. Diallo told reporters that his group comprise Americans and Senegalese who are keen about familiarising themselves with the Gambia's business environment.

Mr. Jallow described their mission to Banjul as a fact-finding one designed to explore the business environment and see how conducive it may be for any possible investment and the opportunities available. He said their meeting with Professor Jammeh also centred on other pertinent issues relating to development.
