PRESIDENT JAMMEH CELEBRATES THIRTY-EIGHTH BIRTHDAY

More messages of congratulations continue to be received at State House following the recent birth date of the President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh on May 25th 2003.

The latest to reach President Jammeh comes from the Gambia's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Gibril Seman Joof and the entire Staff of the Commission. The message noted that the birthday anniversary of the Gambian leader which coincided with the birth of the OAU/AU "speaks volume of the unflinching commitment and dedications" so adequately demonstrated by President Jammeh to ensure that Africa and the whole world in general line in peace and unity.

Another message from Mr. Karl A. Smith of Bristol, England wishes President Jammeh a happy year ahead while the APRC Banjul Central constituency extends warm and heartfelt congratulations.

The Chairman of the Constituency Captain Abou B. Jallow described May 25th as a "cherished and and joyous occasion" for the APRC and the Gambia. Captain Jallow renewed Banjul's loyalty, sincerity and dedication to President Jammeh and pledged to strive for unity among APRC militants in the capital city.
