The President Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh Tuesday received in audience Roger Haines – the Chief Executive Officer, Buried Hill Energy.

Speaking to the press after his meeting with the President Roger Haines explained that his company engages in offshore petroleum exploration in The Gambia. He said his discussions with the Gambian leader centred on a wide range of issues. He said it also accorded him the opportunity to brief President Jammeh on his company's activities in the country. He further explained that his company's task amongst other is to reprocess the data, analyse as well as build a good geological market of the offshore oil of the country.
