Your Majesty,

It is with great sadness that I learnt of the death of so many of your subjects as a result of an earthquake that hit parts of your country this week.

As you mourn these tragic losses, the Government and people of The Gambia join me in commiserating with the entire Kingdom of Morocco in these moments of national bereavement. May the Almighty Allah grant the departed souls eternal bliss and the families of the victims the fortitude to come to terms with their grief.
