- Represented Gambia Government at many International Conferences and meetings, Bilateral and Multilateral Negotiations, Loans and Programmes Negotiations with, IMF, World Bank, African Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, OPEC Fund, the Arab Funds etc.

- Between 1979 - 1986 served as Alternative Governor in the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank and the World Bank, and attended the annual meetings of these Organisations, and the Commonwealth Finance Ministers Meetings during the period.
