1970 - 1974

Maritime Engineer Gambia Ports Authority, Assistant Chief Engineer in the overall Operations of Presidential State Boat.

 

1975 - 1981

Officer-in-charge Patrol Boats Gambia
Police Force, responsible for overseeing
Patrol Boats performing surveillance on
Gambia Waters.

1981 - 1994

Officer Commanding Marine Unit,
Gambia National Army, responsible for Coordinating and Administering the
Marine Unit with one hundred officers.


1994 - 1996

Appointed Mayor of Banjul, responsible
For the overall Operations of Municipa-
lity in the Capital City of Banjul including
management of three hundred Municipal staff.

 

1996 - 1997

Appointed Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of
China covering Singapore, Indonesia,
North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam,
Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei,
Darussalam and Thailand.

Ambassador of The Gambia to Senegal,
Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Morocco,
Algeria, Tunisia, Guinea Conakry, and Guinea Bissau.
