The President Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Jammeh Thursday left Banjul for Abuja, Nigeria, where he is currently attending the 35th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of the West African States.
Professor Jammeh, who was accompanied by a high powered delegation, joined other West African leaders to discuss issues pertinent to the affairs of the sub-region. President Jammeh was seen off at the Banjul International Airport by the Vice President and Secretary of State for Women's Affairs, Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy, the Speaker of the National Assembly Honourable Fatoumatta Jahumpa-Ceesay, Secretaries of State, senior Government Officials, as well as Service Chiefs.
