president jammeh leaves for the federal Republic of nigeria
9th January 2009

His Excellency the President Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Jammeh, left Banjul Friday afternoon for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where he will be attending the the ECOWAS Heads of State and Government Summit.

The President was seen off on departure at the airport by the Vice President, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Chief Justice, Secretaries of State, Resident Foreign Diplomats, Security Chiefs and other senior Government Officials.
