"I am not on a political tour but rather on my Dialogue with the people" - President Jammeh

As the Dialogue With the People Tour continues campaign coordinators of the UDP and NRP announced their defection to the ruling APRC party at a mass political rally in Ngayen Sanjal.

The Campaign coordinators who reported to have defected to the ruling APRC said their defection marks the dead of their parties in Saba Sanjal.

According to UDP's Omar Bah, his defection to the APRC and hundreds of his followers was triggered by the mammoth development strides under taken by the President Yayah Jammeh in his 12 years of leadership.

For his part Ousainou Sallah the NRP former campaign coordinator said his defection and his people from the NRP has thrown NRP in limbo. "I regret being an opposition all this way and people will forever rally behind you and the APRC party.

Hon Kebba Lang Camara the NAM for Saba Sanjal said the defection of the two opposition heroes is a plus to the APRC. "I can now say that there is no opposition in Saba now".

In welcoming the two farmer opposition giants to the ruling APRC, Yankouba Touray, APRC national mobiliser and Secretary of State for Agriculture thanked the two heroes for their foresight. "APRC party is the only party that stands for the development of The Gambia.

For his part, the APRC leader President Yahya Jammeh adopts the statements of Yankouba Touray saying "for the development of The Gambia, the APRC is the answer". President Jammeh added that it is not election neither coup that can change his Government. "It is only God that changes my leadership of this country because I as the President of this country is living up to expectation as far as the development of my country is concern. I am not on a political tour but rather on my 'dialogue with the people'. I will never campaign. If Gambians are sleeping i will know".
