Renowned artist resolved to turn Gambia into arts paradise
11th March 2010


His Excellency the President, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh Thursday received at State House Isha Fofana, a renowned Gambian artist and proprietress of the newly established Mama Africa Museum and Arts Centre in Batokunku.

Fofana said she was at State House to discuss with President Jammeh about her plans for the development of arts and culture in the country. She disclosed that she was motivated to come back to the country by President Jammeh's hard work and achievements in the development of the country.She finally expressed her desire to turn The Gambia into an arts paradise in order to boost the tourism sector.
