The President, His Excellency Sheikh Prof. Alh. Dr. Yahya Jammeh has received a message from the new Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy, acknowledging His Excellency's congratulatory message on his election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The message reads:

 

It was with deep thanks that I received Your Excellency's congratulations on my election as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

As I am wishing you all the best of health and happiness and your brotherly people evermore progress and prosperity, I hope that the relations between our two countries will witness more development and advancement.
