Dear Mr. President,
Since my husband and I first started coming to your beautiful country and meeting your people. We have came back again and again, you never stop surprising us.
The first time we came to your country we saw you in the street picking up the rubbish with your people, we were so impressed because our politicians would not do that.
Last year we got an invitation from you inviting us to your birthday celebrations which is the same date as mine, we enjoyed it very much.
This year I came back to holiday on my own as my husband wasn't well enough to travel. While I was there I watched some Gambia TV, and I saw you and you were covered in much (as you dug out the food) and your people were next to you working.
I was impressed again, your people are right about you, you are a very good man, a kind man and a man to love.
We are very glad to have come into your life a little bit.
You are a great man Mr. President and we are proud to know you.
I would also like to say that as well as your people, we love you too.
We send our wishes to you and your family.
Yours respectfully,
Mr. L.T. Burkett and Mrs. Mandy Burkett

Your Excellency,
Sir, I write this letter on behalf of my family to convey my sincere thanks, gratitude and appreciation towards both the developments and benevolence you are doing for The Gambia and her people.
Your Excellency Sir, you made us Gambians proud of what we are as you are the leader who made the whole world admire The Gambia. Your truthfulness, compassion, determination and love for our beloved country are tantamount realities that the entire universe can testify.
Sir, developments registered under your dynamic leadership really fascinate your fellow leaders and the entire humanity at large. Hopeless families are now hopeful as you are the leader who restored and reunited our brothers and sisters with their beloved families who were suffering from various diseases that they say are incurable.
Your Excellency Sir, achievements gained in Education, Health, Infrastructure, Communication, Judiciary, Defence and Agriculture just to mention a few, clearly spell out the visionary leader you are Sir.
Your back to the land call was a far fetch dream when your undeniable government came to power, but today Gambians realize the call you were advocating for and respond positively to your call as to "eat what you grow and grow what you eat".
Sir, your generosity towards humanity cannot be expressed by words as you share or give assistance to people irrespective of their political affiliation, tribe, culture, religion or social background. I became speechless when I saw a university student on TV who benefited from your generosity and was against your government. Thank God he was lucky to see the lime light towards his future.
Your Excellency Sir, this shows that you are a man with a big open heart for humanity and I don't regret and never will I regret in naming my son Yahya Jarju after your honourable name who will be two years old this 22nd July coming.
Sir, your stand in the promotion of African welfare, unification, liberty, integrity and dignity shows that you are a pan Africanist who always advocate for Africa. If your fellow African leaders do listen to you sir, Africa will be the best continent in the world.
Your Excellency Sir, we the Gambians have to be thankful and grateful to Allah (SWT) for giving us an exemplary leader and join hands and pray for your well being.
May Allah (SWT) shower his mercy and blessings on to you and your beloved family with progress, peace and prosperity towards your entire life.
Please Your Excellency accepts the assurances of my highest consideration as I reaffirm my support, selfless services, commitment and loyalty to you and the APRC party.
Thanks
Yours faithfully,
Habibou Nyassi
