It was a great honour for me to be among the many Gambians to be decorated with a national award on the 40th Anniversary of Republic Day in The Gambia on the 24th April 2010.
It was a pleasure to serve my country in the field of Radio Broadcasting for an aggregate on 38 years and to recognize my personal contribution to the effort was even more satisfying and rewarding. I will treasure this award for the rest of my life and my descendants will as well.
