It is with great pleasure that i have received news of your resounding
victory at the recently held elections in your country.
This victory is a clear indication of the confidence and indeed
the trust that the people of palestine bestow on you as it testifies
to the legacy that the late President Arafat has bequeathed to the
palestinian people.
My i, on this joyous occasion therefore, seize this opportunity
to congratulate you people, for this brilliant manifestation of
commitment to the ideals of peace and security in the region.
I want to express to you, Mr President, my constant availability
to cooperate with you in the realization of our common aspirations.
