Having followed with keen interest the elections which took place
in your country, it is with immense pleasure that I extend to
Your Excellency on behalf of the Government and people of The
Gambia, sincere congratulations for being the choice of the people
of Ukraine as their President.
I am convinced that this resounding victory will herald greater
prosperity and much deserved peace and unity for all Ukrainians.
This confidence bestowed in you, Mr President, will have no doubt
serv to bolster and lend even fresher impetus to relations that
bind our two States and peoples.
As you take up office, therefore, I pray that God the Almighty
gives you the strength, wisdom and fortitude to lead your people
to greater prosperity and socio-economic advancement.
