OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
The Office of the President is the Highest Executive Office in The Gambia.
His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Abdul-Azziz Jemus Junkung Jammeh is the Commander In Chief of The Armed Forces and the Chief Custodian of the Sacred Constitution of The Gambia.
President Jammeh is also the Minister of Defence and holds responsibility over several Departments as listed in the tables below.

DAY TO DAY RUNNING OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
All Correspondences for the Office of The President are handled by the Secretary-General to the Government who is also the Chief Policy Adviser to the President.
Appointments to see the President are handled by the Chief of State Protocol who works under the Office of the Secretary General to the Government.
Matters relating to Press and Public Relations are handled by the Director of Press and Public Relations who answers directly to the Secretary General.
Personal Security of State House and the overall security of the President and inhabitants of State House are handled by the Commander of the State Guards.
